Davis Schools Foundation information

The Davis Schools Foundation is in full swing with its fundraising campaign and would greatly appreciate donations from all of our families to help save programs, support staff and teachers throughout the district.

The biggest Schoolapalooza event ever is this Saturday 4/24 (noon-4:30 pm) in downtown Davis.  Shop downtown and support our schools.  Businesses/restaurants will provide exciting raffle prizes and will donate a percentage of proceeds to our schools.  Hanlees Auto Group will raffle one-year leases on two cars (choice of Toyota Prius or Nissan Cube); one vehicle will be raffled to a District employee, and one will be raffled to the community.  Purchase raffle tickets at any So. Davis Hanlees dealership through Fri. 4/23, at Wednesday’s Farmers Market, or on Saturday during Schoolapolooza (11:30 am-3:30 pm).  Raffle will take place @ E St. Plaza @ 3:45 pm.  Need not be present to win.  Raffle tickets cost $25/ea., or 5 tickets for $100.  Purchase car raffle tickets for your family, or honor a teacher/other District employee!

The Dollar-a-Day campaign ends May 1!  There is a donation “schoolhouse” in the school office.  DSF is an all-volunteer organization raising money to help ALL Davis kids, with close to 100% of all money raised going directly back to our schools. Visit https://davisschoolsfoundation.org/ to make a donation with a credit card and to view the Events calendar to learn other ways to support our schools.

Encourage your children to participate in the Davis Schools Foundation video contest (deadline May 7). Judges are looking for students to creatively demonstrate why supporting Davis Schools Foundation is important. Videos should focus on awesome activities or programs in the Davis Schools that funding from the Davis Schools Foundation will help to save. Challenge your parents to donate to what you care about. Winners will receive $100 Target gift-cards ($20 increment cards-one winner each for the high school, junior and elementary levels).
