T‐dap Announcement

Important information for parents of children over the age of 10:

In response to the resurgence of pertussis and the rising epidemic of the disease in Southern California over this last year, the California Legislature passed a statute to require a T‐Dap (pertussis) booster for all children entering grades 7 through 12 in the Fall of 2011. Before school opening next fall, the school district must have documentation of this shot for all these children before we can seat them in class. Parents/guardians might want to use the winter break to take care of this important task. Please send the documentation to your school site office as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you!

Thank you to all the vendors, students, parents and community who came out yesterday for the first Winter Craft Fair to be held at Korematsu.   It was a fun event and one I hope will become a seasonal favorite.

I wanted to let you all know that Pampered Chef orders, taken through Monday will contribute 15% to Korematsu PTO and still be delivered in time for the holidays:

Also  a reminder that this Wednesdays, the 15th, will be the monthly PTO meeting in the Library at 7pm.

Have a lovely week!

Winter Craft Fair

Just a reminder that this Saturday, December 11th, in the MPR at Korematsu, KPTO will be hosting it’s first Winter Craft Fair!

Come out and say hello to the local crafters and vendors – and some of our very own students – who will have booths set up , get a sneak peak at some of the items that will be available for auction in February, or just come out and have a cup of coffee and some pumpkin bread!

The fair will be open from 11am – 5pm.

See you there!
