Back to School Night (all grades) – Wed Sept 1

We are trying something different for Back to School Night this year. Based on parent feedback that coming to school on two consecutive evenings was difficult, we have decided to have one event. We encourage you to walk or ride your bike, since parking is very limited.

Each teacher will make the SAME presentation twice to allow you to visit two different classrooms in one evening.  Please honor the schedule, so teachers can provide equal time to both sessions. Thank you!

  • 5:15-5:45: Back to School Night program for Mrs. Smith’s fourth grade.
  • 6:00-6:30: Science orientation only for fourth grade parents and new 5th/6th grade students.)
  • 6:30-6:45: Welcome (in the MPR). If you are new to Korematsu, Mrs. Smith invites you for a brief welcome and introduction of staff. (Optional for continuing families).
  • 6:50-7:20: Classroom presentations (Session 1)
  • 7:30-8:00: Classroom presentations (Session 2)
